i am not a racist.....n instead of askin how to decrease racism, i thought it would be better to ask this question from the racist itself,once someone admitz to be a racist.....

Ok,I will admit,I am one of those racist type.
I will try to explain to you why this is and why it is so hard to stop,even when the idiot governments attempt to make laws against something that cannot be stopped.
As long as there are different races and religions,hatred will always exist between them.
some hatreds are gotten through war,one race or culture against another or for attrocities done by one to the other,and these feelings are going to be passed on to the next generation to the other.
So long as anyone teaches their young,that they are better (due to religious belief or their culture),there will be hatred and racizm.

I really do appreciate the fact that you hav accepted that you are a racist....ur perception is right, and it can be said that there is racism existing in many ppl in one way or another,but at timez they dont realize that their attitude points out racism. we shud always consider of bringin changez in peoplez thinkingz and our surroundings,and not try to do sumthing which is highly impossible....like, you said that "as long as ........between them"...this is true,but itz totally impossible to bring everyone under one religion n culture, so why not try to change our aspectz.....there r several ways to change yourself n not be a racist...n the initial step is to try making friends who are of different religion and different culture....get to know them.....n once v hav gud friendz, then no religion or culture racism comez in between....another approach towardz changin ur perception is to study abt other religionz n culturez....i hope that you dont mind me advicing you on sumthing which u dint ask.....but i really want to take steps to stop racism....our life is so short,if we spend it in hatred n racism, then where will v lead???this world is filled up wd diverse cultures and religions....every culture n every religion is beautiful in itz own way.....n especially these dayz, every country comprises of ppl wd diff cultures n religions....

I do appretiate what you are saying and would like to happen,but as I am 61 years old,have fought in Viet Nam,my perseption of people and places are pretty well established at this time.
I do have many friends in many religious beleifs as well as from many countries,including Viet Nam,but that does not stop one from hating the enemy from those lands,and with the way the world is today with all the terrorist acts being purpatrated by a certain race,and religion,I can't see peace comming in the next few thousand years.
I must agree,it would be great if it were possible,but don't hold your breath.

I think you will find it hard to find someone who would admit to that. I could be wrong though.?.?.? I would not say that I am racist. I don't agree with people who are. I think it is a simple-minded person who feels that way. They have unneeded anger in their life and they are missing out on so much.
