I Should be used to it by now, seeing as I've moved six times in the past! But I am having to keep a check list to make sure that I have done everything before leaving! This time it's different in that it's all cloak and dagger and plans have to be top secret and hidden away! I'm glad in a way I've got plenty of time to sort out stuff etc. Everything from getting my name of dual bills, informing the landlord to changing all my addresses, thankfully the post office have a system where you can direct mail for a month, three months or year Do you keep a checksheet when you are about to move home? Do you remember to do everything? I hope I've covered everything and left no loose ends. It's like a major operation here LOL! I reckon I should get a job as a spy or something, so many secrets and so much hidden and top secret Just call me 00-wolfie LOL So how do you make moving easier with regards to the planning of it?

Normally I would be upset and my stomach in knots when he comes home in a foul mood like tonight, now I don't care, his acid falls on deaf ears now. I keep chanting 73 days, 73 days..... xxxx

It never gets any easier, I have moved 6 times in 5 years and I hate, most of my moves were out of state so it made it even harder to do. But a check-list is a great place to start and then start packing and labeling, one of the best things you can do is label boxes so you know what you need and then know what you can store away, especially since you are going to be staying at your parents house until you find a place, it is all exciting to move, and to move forward in the direction you are doing. I am so proud of YOU!!

I'm proud of myself, it's like I'm finding strength within me, strength I never knew I had, even sitting here tonight keeping everything secret and pretending everything is ok is strength. He's in a filthy mood when he came home and I was like, yeah, so what you're just giving me more ammo, not that I need any more x

You will do fine WOlfie- You seem like a pretty organized person- plus you do have alot of time to get things in order- the hardest thing will be doing it all in secret- Sure I always make checklists for everything in my life- so yep for moving also- But when me moved it was the last time- (bought a house) and we hard a yard sale at the same time- boy it was a mess- I forgot to reregister and could not vote in the last election- so make that checklist.

As it's secret no more, it'll be the Spanish inquisition, at least there's no worries about loose ends!

Whenever I am packing to move I use a marker and write on the boxes so I know whats , what don't want to get it mixes up with something. Maybe you should become a spy (smile) bet your good in that! Also make sure you don;t leave anything out.

Basically as long as I make sure the bills are switched the landlord is informed by recorded delivery and I have the original receipt for the deposit LOL! and I've left NO EVIDENCE behind it's plain sailing!

I've found that no matter how much planning I do, wolfie, I always manage to leave something at the old place. Hopefully this won't happen to you. You seem to be well-organized so you probably would make a good 00Wolfie, LOL. There are no other suggestions that I can give you-you're perfect just as you are!

I've moved about six times in the past two years alone, so I've pretty much got a system going, lol. I move items room by room, labeling everything. Once moved to the new residence, each box is deposited in the proper room before even opening it. As far as the paperwork involved, I usually do that about a week or twoo before the date of my move. It cuts down on a lot of unnecessary stress and allows plenty of time to go back and correct or complete anything I may have forgotten. Two of my recent moves have been fairly secretive, so I had to do the majority of the moving myself with a half-ton pickup truck.... 6 months pregnant, lol. Makes things interesting. Blessed Be
