Do you feel safe with all these food scares?

I just read Sara Lee is recalling one of its All Grain Breads because they may contain meal chips. We went from dog food, toothpaste, peanut butter, now to canned foods and bread. How comfortable are you with buying products?

The issue about these food scare and malicious practices of some food manufacturers are real. Nowadays, it's really imperative to know what your buying because even the well known food manufacturers have ended on TV to have manufactured hazardous foods. Generally though, I still feel mostly comfortable abut the processed food I buy in the groceries. I just read more about labels and ingredients now more than ever.

I am very comfortable. I figure with all the food I ate since I was young, with the margarine that contained trans fats and the other stuff that they now say is no good for you and contains dangerous additives and chemicals, may shorten my lifespan, decreased my fertility, give me strands of hair on my face, and make me very tired in the afternoon, NOTHIING else can hurt me.
