When my favourite cousin gave birth to her first child a baby boy last month, as soon as her mum told me I rushed out straight away to get a card for her and I sent it on the same day, I'm daft like that!
But I felt so jealous (but in the nicest possible way!) I began to get broody very broody, I was still in my depressive mode then and I guess it added to it.
I still haven't seen him yet, although I've been told I DON'T need an invite. I just want a cuddle! So I've promised myself a little weekend to go and see him!
But boy was I getting broody! I would love a son, I even had a couple of names for him like Shane or Reese! That is sad I know
But am I the only one here, come on guys, do men get broody too? Have you seen your fellow go all goochy and weak at the knees when a new born baby comes onto the scene? Or does he run a mile LOL!
By the way she named him Kian
Wolfie goes off to dig out his dummy LOL!

Of course men get broody too honey! You never know what is ahead of you so don't give up hope! My other half tends to be the strong silent type but even he melts with newborn babies! I bet your cousins boy is gorgeous and I do hope you get to see him and tell me all about it soon! Hugs little bro! xxx

Well I know my sig. other doesn't get this way- lol.. But I know alot of guys who did-- and then they got married and had kids- I don't see why guys cant get all giddy and want their own kids when they see other babies- It's normal- I can admit when I see a new baby- I don't get those feelings anymore- I have 1 daughter- she is perfect and all I need.

Well I guess it's possible. Nothing is cut and dried in life - there are so many shades of grey between the black and the white. So just as you get "unnatural" women like me who run a mile from babies because I really don't feel comfortable around them (oooops - lots of Bad Neg Reps now I'm sure - LOL!), - you must also get men who desparately want kids and get broody. Kian is a lovely name btw:-))

LOL! Well in that case I have 4 lovely sons as well! But there's a world of difference in my opinion, between cute fur babies, and the human variety, that either scream, throw up, or make their nappies smelly and dirty! I prefer the feline variety every time. Anyway - perhaps you will have a son one day - never say never!!

Gals don't have a corner on the market when it comes to getting emotional, wolfie. I have seen the biggest of brutes reduced to tears at the birth of a baby or some other everyday occurrence. Emotions mean you are human. I would much rather be around someone who shows honest emotion than a cold, inhuman robot. Cute name-Kian.

My husband is brooding right now.
Needless to say I'm staying in here.
Got too much work to do to deal with brooding right now.
My mom says men get a hormonal imbalance monthly the same way women do. Might be some truth to that.

There's nothing wrong being broody. Shane and Reese is a pretty names. When my daughter moved out adnI wanted a another baby and now my daughter is going to have one in October so that means I can spoil it rotten.LOL Go and see your cousin and the new baby and you'll be glad you did.
