What are some of the ways that you have fun without having to spend any money? I know there are things like walking, going to the park, relaxing in your back yard, playing games online, window shopping (which never ends up free for me unless I leave the debt card in the card), what other sorts of things can you enjoy without having to use money?

Close-up of a Sunflower - photo image of sunflower
Well one of my favorite "free" things to do is to go out with my camera gear, loaded up with film and take a good healthy walkabout....A few blocks away from me are private 2-family homes with incredibly beautiful gardens..I have a field day photographing the flowers.. Here's one of my favorites of a extreme close-up of a sunflower I took on one of my walks

That sounds fun! I love photography, although I will admit that 98% of all the pictures I take are of my cat, lol. Or of my mother w/out her face on and eating something, lol she hates that.

Awww... he's gorgeous! I've always wanted a black kitty. I had one when I was 13 but I had to give him away because he was an angora and I'm allergic. I used to babysit for him and the other kitties for the couple that I gave him to when they'd travel.

Hi. There are alot of ways to have fun for free. In the park these games can be played; hide n seek, tag, assorted races; simply walking and observing... The same games can be played in your very own backyard... You can also take a picnic to the beach and build sandcastles, play the games stated above, or simply just swimming... Its all using your imagination...

We lov to go camping. It isnt really free since we need to pay for the gas in the car to get there but it is still very affordable. We take food from our pantry and fridge and toys from the house. There is little if anything to buy. It is nice not having all the distractions we have at home. Plus my husband cooks so it is much easier on me.

I am fortunate enough to live in an area where there's always alot of free things to do in the summer. there's the Farmers market in Madison, WI that's great to just go hang out at. They also have a great free zoo up there, not to mention Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. There's free storytime for younger kids at the library, and Home Depot has projects you can sign up for. You just have to do the research.

absolutely, some of our favourite things to do are things such as blowing bubbles, playing catch or soccer or going to the beach during the summer. during the winter, we get a dvd from the library, play games like scrabble as a family, go toboganning or ice skating, that sort of thing.

I am very lucky to live in an area where there is a lot to do for free...this is also lucky becuase it's a rather expensive aera to live in. I can go to a nearby square and listen to music, people watch, read a book all for free. Sometimes there are even local theater groups putting on shows for free. My friends and I also often do game nights, where we bring board games, and snacks from home to share together. These nights are always a ton of fun and I really look forward to them. They are low cost and high reward in my opinion.

We live in South Florida, and the beach is our absolute favorite free thing to do. My husband and I usually take our boys on Sunday mornings before he goes to work, and then I take them once during the week as well. We also have some great parks here in South Florida, and they are free during the week. The last couple of weeks, my sons have gone to the free wednesday 10a.m. movie at the AMC theather. I think they have two weeks left. This is really a great free event, as a normal trip to the movies easily can ruin a budget.
