I was typing away in the computer room thats what I call my spare bedroom. When I smelled something. So I put a plug in airfreshner in there. It helped for a while but the smell came back. I also keep my laundry basket in there too. So I thought thats it. And yes it was my husband had put some wet pants and shirt in there a couple of days ago when he got caught in the rain. What a dah! All my other clothes smelled from that.YUK it was awful! Men!!!

For some reason the sour smell sticks in the clothes. You might have to wash them twice.

I know what you mean. My husband has done that too. And the worst was when he called himself washing clothes. He put clothes in the washing machine and forgot to put them in the dryer. Then 3 days later he puts them straight in the dryer. The smell was so horrible. I had to wash those clothes about 5 times to get that smell out. It was disgusting.

hi Terry, its similar with what happened to us sometime ago..my partner had left his used clothes inside the bathroom and it gotten wet while its in there..when he manage to pick it up he placed in on the container where we put the dirty clothes and all the dirty clothes had smelled so bad that it stinks..it was the wet clothes that gotten stock for a week that made the smelly thing out..along with the other clothes and its so hard to get rid of the smell.

Oh dont tell me that. Because I have to wait to wash them we dont have a washer yet. I took them outside a left them on the line to dry so thats not too bad.

Nice, nothing better than sour wet clothes. Yep had that happen a time or two with the girls and their wet swimming outfits hidden in their room instead of in the dirty laundry. I found washing them twice gets rid of the smell. But man it does stink.

Hehe..I'm not married so haven't had "hubby" problems...but gee, is it any wonder I prefer the company of my cats? The closest though that one of my cats did ...I woke up today to find one of their catnip toys in their water dish..yuk--Now the toy stinks!
