start problem,won't sew

I just got given a husqvarna 350 computer sewing machine.I went to start and had a bobbin jam.Then realised as I cleared the thread that I had made a mistake in threading the bobbin.When I had fixed threading and went to sew my machine would not sew.I read manual and it said to turn off and wait 5 minutes then turn on which I did and it still will not sew.I am not used to a computerised machine so being a bit of a technophobe i was wondering if there is a simple comand to reverse what seems to be the computer overiding the sew function.or do I need to go to a service centre.Before the bobbin jam the machine was sewing fine and has had no problems.The instruction mannual has no other instructions to help me with my problem, so I wondered if anyone else has had this happen and is there quick way to fix it.Thankyou Helen
