Does age really matter?

I believe girls tend to be more mature than boys. A relationship with this guy would be a big risk, so think twice before pursuing him If you really like him, perhaps you can be friends first. He may be intimidated because you're older, so you have to make him feel that age gap isn't there. As for making him feel comfortable, that's not too hard. Try talking about things you're both interested in such as school, hobbies, common friends, and funny incidents. Just let him be himself. Guys don't want to feel like they are being scrutinized too much. So I really think that age DOESN'T matter.. ;P

Just like the old love song goes--love is all that matters, faithful and forever, keeping us together, love is all we need. ;p

It's level of comfort that matters most rather than age in a relationship. I knew a couple with 20 years age gap, but I have never seen a more compatible couple the fundamental is that they are so comfortable with each other that makes everything else seems insignificant. I assume age doesn't really matter, as long as you are comfortable with each other. I will choose an old cotton t-shirt rather than a satin Armani on a hot day, if you know what i mean.

It depends on who you ask. I don't think age really matters at all. To me it is just a number and nothing especial about at all.

I too think age is not of importance. My sister is 18 years old, and deeply in love with a 30 year old. He seems to love her deeply as well. He has treated her with so much respect, given her the love she needs, and they are going to have a baby together. She is 6 months pregnant with his baby. They seem so deeply in love, and I truly believe it is true love. I think age is not important. If two people really connect, then that is what really matters. Who knows, they may separate, but this could happen to anyone dating someone of the same age. Love is not measured in numbers, it is measured in trust, the deep connection, the satisfaction of eachothers presense. If two people love one another, age is of no importance.
