what matters most: your "self" or your "love one"?

for me, myself wouldnt really matter..id be happy to see my love happy - with me.. and if not with me, id be happy still knowing he's doing good.. martyrdom wont do.. but, thats the way i love, i care for him more than for myself.. sometimes maybe i ask him things to do for me or i myself asks him to take me out for a date.. well. someway, inspite and despite, atleast im happy knowing that im with him though i know for a fact it'll only last for hours and again, pain resides.. dramatically as it may seem, i just love..
