Selfish members of parliament.

I am shocked that even after statistics showed that kenyan legislatures are the most paid in Africa;they now want to extend their lead to the highest level. Currently they are three after US and Britain and yet feel that is not enough. They earn 500,000kshs basic salary and allowances worth 800,000kshs of which are not taxable. In spite of being the top earners,these people don't represent the people but their own selfish interests. Lack of quorum is something that is not strange here but part of the ninth parliament. Since elections are coming in December they now want to the taxpayers to pay them 1.4 billion kshs in further emoluments. I think this is the highest form of misuse of power. In fact they ought to to pay us for wasting our time and failing to deliver the services. We are just doing them a favor to continue paying them for what they never did.
