Isn't it annoying how things don't go as you plan? It seems as if no matter how much you plan, nothing goes like you expect it. It can be discouraging sometimes. But, we just have to go on and do the best we can.

Tell me about it....as a kid and young adult I had SO many plans for my life, but I had a lot of weird detours and setbacks....but now I'm moving toward accomplishing my goals after all this time...never too late to start!!

You got that right, I a few years ago, I was at the same company for 22 1/2 years, beginning to see the retirement light glow. then one day, my job went away, it went off-shore. So here I am, a female, early 50's, well educated (Master's degree in Comp Science), looking for a job. Right, I had a better chance of seeing God then getting a similar job with a comparable salary. Now 2 years later, my retirement savings is all but gone, I have a job that pays me about 30% of what I made before, I have to work about 20 hours OT a week to meet my bills...nothing exciting - no car payment, just mortgage and taxes and stuff. What good does planning really do?

I tend to think that it's more exciting that things don't go as I plan, rather than annoying. :) Then again, two years ago, I never would have thought that I would have moved to Seattle and been fitting in as well as I am here. :)

Yes.We must go on to survived. If you dream to become wealthy IN LEGAL TERMS you must strive harder but sometimes it failed. But i believed in a saying that goes as "rest if you must but don't you quit" as the quitters is always a loser.
