Absolutely no indication. You might be thinking of Serj's new solo project, which, if you like SOAD, you should like Serj's stuff.

from what I remember is that they were on hiatus indefinitely which was really disappointing and sad but I guess thats how it goes.

I saw System of a Down on Ozzfest last summer, and my understanding was that they were taking an indefinite hiatus to work on side projects. Perhaps one of the side projects is going to be putting out a new album?
