Do u enjoy working in retail?

I used to work in Barnes and Noble book store before I got kids. And I just love it, maybe because i have passion for books. And I love the employee discount that I have everytime I purchased books in there.

I work in retail and I do love it. I am a very shy person and used to work in an office where I did not have to deal with many people. Circumstances led me to this retail job that I took knowing i'd hate it but took it anyway as a means to support my children. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with the job and have been there ever since (15 yrs). Could I do better financially? Oh yes, I'm sure I could for I have. The fact that I love the job and it is relativly stress-free...is oh so important. I do wish I was making more money but for me to switch jobs I would not only have to be making more money...it would have to be something I enjoyed as well.

I love working in retail. I would not want any other job. I actually plan on doing to school here before long to study business management where I can move up into higher positions in retail.
