To Pergo or not to Pergo?

I have been getting a lot of mixed reviews on the laminate flooring Pergo. I've heard really bad reviews, that it scratches easily, and it is a nightmare to get the company to come through on their warranty. I've also heard good things like it is indestructible and such. What do you think? Do you have pergo and like it or hate it?

I am worried about this too. I just hired my friend to put in a pergo flooring for me in my dining room. He works with it a lot in his construction business and had very good things to say about it. I am worried it will get wet and ruin and scratched up. Paying about $1400 for the floor to be installed I really dont want to have it ruined a year down the road. It has a lifetime warranty against scratches and stuff but I dont know like you said getting companys to stick with the warranty agreement can be tough.
