If Rosie O'Donnel had been hired for the Price is Right host....

What do you think the Price is Right game-show would be like if Rosie O'Donnel had been hired to be the host? Do you she would act more like the Rosie of old days way back when she had her own "Rosie" show about housewife stuff? Or, do you think she would try to incorporate some of her more controversial attitudes into the show? Personally, I think that Price is Right show producers were really worried that Rosie wouldn't behave herself if she got picked for host, so that's why she ultimately got passed over for the job. Of course she said that she didn't want to relocate and had passed on the job, but I don't think that is the case. Maybe it was her graceful way of getting turned down. What do you think? What would the show have been like if she were host?

we lost television reception all together about the same time that Bob Barker retired. I do not think rosie would have been a good choice for hosting. I wonder why they are moving towards hiring comedians (former comedians) as game show hosts, shouldn't the game itself be entertaining enough to hold our attention? I think rosie's style is a bit harsh for the price is right audience and atmosphere. Barker was always a dignified and gentle man.

I'm really glad that Rosie didn't get to host it. I think she causes trouble too much for the crowd that watches the Price is Right. I mean, I know that there are people of all ages that watch it, but because of the time that it is on, I'm sure that the majority of the people that watch it are retired, or stay at home. Most people that fit in those categories don't want to watch all the drama. They like the show for a reason, and it sure isn't because Bob Barker is always involved in something controversial! I think Drew Carey will fit in with the show much better than Rosie would.

I think she would of started some sort of trouble like she did on The View myself and like she did with others myslef.

I agree with the first response. The Price Is Right would have flopped big time if Rosie took over for Bob. I don't think that there wille ever be an "old Rosie" again because she has just gone way too far with her comments, bashing, and just 'coming out' ruined her. I know that I would not be watching it if she did get the spot. Drew Carry is the best choice. He's funny and not surrounded by controversy (that I know of) like Rosie is. He has a good image and will suit the show perfectly!!

I think Rosie would have ruined the show. She just doesn't have the personality for it. Bob Barker is going to be a hard act to follow. I'm not even sure how Drew will do. But I know I would not have wanted Rosie to host it.
