I basically came on here to discuss stuff with people, but now I see that some people are earning money, and I'm wondering how come I only have $0.75 so far? What a drag! Anyway, if someone can give me tips as to how to make some money, that would be a great boon, since it was not my initial reason for discussing things on here.

Just post quality responses that contain good grammar and spelling and is relavant to the discussion at hand. If you have the mindset of posting to just add to discussions, instead of for making money, you'll find you will type more and more often and then be pleasantly surprised at the earnings you make each day.

Well, that is definitely my mindset--posting to add to discussions. I do not care about the money. It sounds like it is not really worth it for that, anyway. I have posted quite lengthy responses and discussed some deep issues. I was not doing it for any other reason that to find out what people think, and also to express my opinion. I very much appreciate your response, and I think you may have a real key to the way the myLot people decide the worth of comments or responses--by the accuracy of the information, as well as the person's English grammar and punctuation. I have not been very careful about that. Not until now, anyway, thanks to you! :)

Just keep discussing, as much as you can during the day. And make sure whenever you have something to say or ask make your own discussion! And hope that a lot of people respond to it. Also, adding pictures to groups can help, but don't overdue it...the site won't let you JUST post pictures all day, you have to post too. And if you know anyone who likes to type give them your referral url. My referrals haven't helped me a lot but, other people have good referrals!

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. Just keep popping in and discussing. Does it matter if you start a discussion or join one already in progress? Where would I post pictures? On my mLot? That sounded strange. Sorry. I see up above, there's a "photos" tab, an I never even noticed it before. I tried referring some of my friends, but I don't think anyone was interested. Anyway, I really appreciate your help. I don't have enough time to sit and read directions on some help menu. You summed it up pretty well, as far as I can tell. Thanks a lot!

Hello there ASL19741978 & WELCOME to Mylot! Well it has been harder to make money here on Mylot in the recent weeks; a lot of member has noticed a drop in our earnings. You have gone to just post quality discussions and responses. I know it may seem like a drag now but if you continue to participate you see an increase in your earnings. I have been here for three months and have already been paid $19.54 cents for the first two month and I am on my way to a second payout in August. It takes a lot of time and determination to succeed here; I feel that my earnings are satisfactory because I am not here for that sole reason. I enjoy the knowledge and friends that I have gained here through Mylot and since I have come to that realization my earnings have increased significantly, I guess it is because if we don’t pay any mind to it, it will grow more that we expect it but then if we constantly keep an eye on our earnings it will slowly rise. I suggest you continue to post quality discussions and responses and you shall see the increase you seek. It is always a little hard when you first start because you really don’t know your way around Mylot but in given time you will have learned from yourself what works and what doesn’t. Good Luck

Thank you, Liyan, for your advice! I guess it is difficult, as several others have had the same opinion. I was just curious as to what people were paid for, and how much time it takes. I probably will not make as much as you have because of time constraints, but I will continue to start discussions and respond to others' discussions. I appreciate your taking the time to explain things to me. :) May God bless you!
