Selling on eBay for Beginners - Fees

Yesterday, I realized something. It's about what the user "oldbuddy" said on my topic ""I need money for an extra portable hard drive!" earlier. I also realized that I have downloaded all kinds of PLR and MRR items that i've recieved from many months of giveaways i've been in thru my mail. However, I can't let them go to waste. They could be my meal ticket to a better life for me, and since I have a lot of ebooks about eBay, since I do have an account with eBay, I decided I want to sell my ebooks and digital items. But the thing is, well, because I currently have $4.99 in my Paypal account, and I used to have $6.50 because of my first article I wrote on Associated Content, is the fees that are associated with selling. I can't sell my items if I don't have enough money in my paypal account. So the thing is, when selling, do I have to pay my fees first before selling, or do they take the fees out of the money I won after my items is sold or the winner wins my item in the auction? Do they take a piece of my money I earned like taxes leaving me with what remains in my paypal account, or do I have to pay my fees out of my paypal account before I start selling my item? For example, let's say I have an ebook that I would like to sell or put up for auction for $20 dollars. The winner has won my auction, and the initial fee is like $0.20. I currently have $4.99. If (s)he pays the $20 dollars, will I get reduced to something like $19.80, or do I have to pay the $0.20 cents, leaving me with $4.79, and THEN place my digital item up for auction?

That is the thing how ebay earn from. They asks for fee for posting your goods to be sold and also they takes some amount of commision for you. But it may costs more to the beginners
