Cellular Phone Naming Scheme

Most cellular Phone makers has a techno crampy mode of naming models of batch of a newly manufactured or out to be introduced models. Like Nokia has "N" models e.g. N70 etc, Sony Ericsson has T or K models e.g. K-801, Samsung was not different though so with Alcatel and so many other cellphone manufactureres. While motorolla has diverted with their popular Razor or RZR or whatever, needless to say that naming cellular phone models or batch should also correspond to signs or whatever the choosing of the company makers. It is highly suggested that it should be named after a lady. For most user or cellular phones around the world are women. For example Nokia N73 looks like a beautiful or gorgeous Celistina Blue or Black whatever. Or it might go with the sign of the year the chinese had set. Or maybe like the horoscope animals. Whatever it is as long as it has distinct and unique naming configurations or standards not with the current techno crampy thing.

I have no problems comletely with the manner they name these phones-all I admire is how increasingly ingenious these phone makers are becoming lately-I used to think Nokia was the Greatest phone-I looked at the models of recent phones from Mottorall, Errickson Alcatel, Siemens Samsung and was left totally confused as to which the best phone to go for!

It's a marketing catch for the makers of the phone to introduce savvy and non-tech annoying menus or features. Nowadays, you will get confused, as I agree with you on that matter, but you need not to, what matter most is how can we be of more mobile than that of the wired one. Like the Iphones - made by apple, it has technical incompatibilities with some network providers. You can not bring Iphones to another country with different schema or from GSM to CDMA or 3G or wherever. Im saddened by your confusing statement, because you can not choose between the best of the best. You yourself has to make a choice, for you have to set your standard of use. Like you need the phone as your modem or does the network support these/this phone of their value-added feature. tnx.
