Oldschool golf?

My son and I and a few frinds are trying to bring back the oldschool style of glof attire back in the old days like you see in bagger vance, what do you think? trendsetters or out of it's time?

I know what you mean with the ties and sweater vest, I think it would be neat to see people dressing like that again, but it would probably never happen in a million years.

We do have a lot of people staring at us the whole time, but that is part of the fun of it, plus it gives me another excuse to wear my bow tie.
