myLot Should Take A Lesson From "Take the Internet Back".

Lately, I and many people here at myLot have complained about the decrease in earnings. Well the same thing happened over at "Take The Internet Back" and they did something about it. This is great news. I just received this email from TIB. Dear Lloyd. You are receiving this as an owner of our website "Take the Internet Back". We have decided to make a few modifications to our TIB website. The new changes will reward our active and hard working members substantially more than in the past. Please take your time and go over these changes. They will be posted on the website as well. 1.) We will now base everything on a point system exclusively. You will get 1 point for reading an email and 3 points for each referral. 2.) On the 14th and 28th of each month, (This is very important) you will receive funds in your account based on how many emails you read (1 point) and how many people you refer (3 points). You will no longer get funds daily as we are going to use a 2 week cycle. Only people active, and who have earned points, during each 2 week cycle will earn. Inactive members during any 2 week cycle will no longer receive any funds. 3.) Every time that we pay out now, we will reset everything and start a new cycle i.e. after we pay out on the 28th a new cycle starts from zero. 4.) From tomorrow on (Friday July 27th) all of our members who are active will be earning MORE. As we said above, only active members will now be compensated with the 45% revenues from ads. Prior to this, we distributed funds to all members and determined that this was unfair. About 25% of our members are currently active. These are the ones building up our company and these are the ones who will now be compensated at a higher rate. We hope that by doing it this way, we can encourage our inactive members to resume participating in building up TIB. And we are sure that our current active members will be happy with a higher payout. If you have inactive people in your downline, now is the time to contact them and tell them about the new payment structure. Let's take TIB to the next level and earn even more!! TIB Administration I can't tell you what a difference this is going to make in regards to future earnings. Anyone who is not a member of TIB and who wants to join can send me a message and I will provide you with a referral link. Thanks. Lloyd

I became a member of TIB a few weeks ago haven't really done anything there since I read that you have to have two active referrals just to get paid. I have no referrals and if I did they wouldn't stay active they join just to shut me up and then bail. So I thought why waste my time on something that won't pay me because I have no active referrals. So do you think I should continue to be a member to or should I bail as well? Thanks. Actually when I was a more active member in mylot I got paid higher but then school out so I haven't been able to spend asa much time as I used to ..So maybe it will go back up when I do..Unless these lower pay per post is going to stick around for awhile.

It's very easy to get referrals. I have 11 active members in my downline. I'm on my way to work right now. I'm working the night shift. But tomorrow I will show you how to get your two referrals. It's easy to do since the program is free. Lloyd

Thank you for sharing this and hopefully there is a smart anonymous moderator that takes it to management. This site needs something to become great like it almost was and now is not. When a company cares it is shown that they can make a difference. I would not mind being paid every two weeks, however, will be satisfied if I can make the money like I used to. I have been here as often as physically possible for me since last November and have been participating in the same manner since then. Would be great to be acknowledged and paid accordingly. I maybe could promote Mylot again.

I hope someone in management sees what TIB is doing and take it into consideration. These subtle changes could bring back the formerly active members and increase the quality of the posts here at myLot. I find it very difficult to promote myLot with the current pay structure. Lloyd

I'll be around. I'm not going anywhere. myLot is still a great site even though they have reduced the payscale. Lloyd

Before I received this I had given up on TIB. I was tired of getting nowhere for my efforts. Now I have hope that it will be better and will give it another try.

Hey Elusive Butterfly, I am also a member of TIB and I too gave it up after reading in the FAQs section that you have to have 2 active referrals to gete paid otherwise you don't and all the time spent there would be time wasted. They are some other discissions about it and they too will tell you have to be paid..just don't want you to waste your time if you do not have two active referrals.

This really sounds like a major move in the right direction for TIB. I've been an active member since the beginning and have 11 active members in my downline. Can't wait to see the results from these changes. Lloyd

That would make a difference here too- I know some people that do not post but did refer a lot of people- so they get those funds from their referrals- While the rest of us who post and post- and have no referrals- get little- Come on mylot this makes sense- You have to be active to get any money—and the rest of the people who only earn from referrals that money should be divvied up to all of us active people- I’d love to know more about TIB- I’ll contact you soon.

I'd rather be paid for being active and posting quality discussions. I hope myLot adopts TIB's payscale model. Here is the link to TIB. It will explain everything you need to know. Lloyd http://www.taketheinternetback.com/index.php?refId=12583

I really hope they pay more, because i am a member of TIB and for the past 3 months i only earned 44 cents on top of the free $10 given when i signed up. I've read more than 300 emails already. It came to a point that i got tired and for the past 1 week i stopped logging in my TIB account. Thanks for sharing this mail, i will go now and check on my TIB and start reading emails again.

I think you will see an increase in earnings. You have to remember that TIB is fairly new. Hang in there and we'll all see if this new pay strategy is worth it. Take care. Lloyd

Ha,Ha, this is so funny. They deleted my topic about Mylot, but let you keep this about referring people to another site, how funny is that? I wonder if they deleted mine because I was right. I may just check out this new site indeed. Send me a link and let me check it out.

Hi Rozie. What topic of yours did they delete? I really don't understand the inner workings of myLot, so I can say why they delete some discussions and let others go on. Here is the link you requested. http://www.taketheinternetback.com/index.php?refId=12583 If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me. Lloyd
