I am so happy that Tony was the one kissing the brick today. Maybe he has found his good luck racing again. Would be nice to see him win the championship again this year.
Jr. was doing good until he had car problems, he sure has not had the luck, at least not the good luck.

Typical scenario for Tony "smoke" Stewart to come on at the end of the season and Jeff Gordan to begin to backslide a bit .
I think the Race for the Chase will come down to the two of them in the end.It looks like Jimmy Johnson is having a run of bad luck
and won't be a repeat Champion.

Well, i was at the Brickyard yesterday and I have to say that Kevin Harvick was giving Tony a run for his money for a little bit. I was hoping Jeff Gordon would win,but my husband was all for Stewart.
I thought that Dale Jr. might win this one,but then the car just gave out. It has to be hard for him to be leading a race and then just go out like that.
I don't think that Stewart will win the Cup this year,but we will see.

Oh yes, we saw the bumping and grinding with Kevin and Tony. Yes, I felt so bad for Jr. We have the direct tv hot pass and 2 of the drivers was Jr and Tony. I was back and forth until I finally kept in on Smoke.
We never know, Tony has as much of a chance to win the cup and the others who will be in the chase. I just don't want Gordon, Johnson, Harvick or either of the Busch brothers to win.
I hope you had good seats yesterday. It was a blast wasn't it?

So I guess what it amounts to is, that you have to have that luck hit for ya also, and not depend on skill alone! Well I'm glad for him, I'll be watching him for the rest of the season!

I will say it was good for Stewart to win I really hoope that Jr can pull one off to win soon! He has had a bad year. I think that next year will be better for him. It may take a few to get started but I believe if he cant do it this year it will be next year! Nascar has really put some big restrictions on them all and I think alot have struggled this year! Well talk to you later got to go get ready for work.
