what would you do if you're on a sinking ship?

poseidon movie was really great... it shows you how to survive on a big ship when it sink.... i used to work on a ship before as a band singer and during work, we experienced fire on the engine room...and i know how it feels... it's scary but if you panic u cant do anything, u cant move, u cant think... all u have to do is cry to death. then u realize u didnt try to do something u just let yourself sink too

I would like to say i'd be totally calm, keep my head together and try to rationally work out the best way to escape whilst helping others around me. But the reality is i'd probably freak right out and go completely hysterical.

first,call for help and tell them where you are,that's important,and next you have to do something,find whatever you have and make full use of them,like food,water,plastic bottles which can make you not sink,even a piece of wood,in a word,use all things that can help you survive

yes i would do that too... try to find a things that will help me... but first and foremost, you have to get familiar with the exits of the ship... the important is you can get out of it before you think of anything... coz once the door is closed you'll stay there for good lol thanks for the reply

I would equip myself with at least a boat, supply of food, and life-jacket before I even think of boarding a ship. Later when I sink I will have those things to help me survive. Oh yes I will not forget to bring compass and a handphone.

i would do that if can.. but most of the ship didnt allow you to bring anything except for your clothes money and other personal things... they provide all the rescue things... but how sure you are? that you can do things like that if you're on the middle on it already? thanks for the responce
