Who are the good guys?

I've been watching the 4400 since the first season. Admittedly, I missed a few episodes of the second season and some of the third, but I think I've got a pretty good grasp of what's been happening since the show started. I just find myself a little confused about the roles on the show. Who's the good guy and who's the bad guy? Who should I be rooting for? I like Shawn very much, but I often think he's just too young for all that he's taking on and that his youth is going to be his downfall. I also find myself liking Jordan Collier, in spite of the feeling that I shouldn't. I think his vision of things isn't horrible, but should be looked at a bit more closely rather than dismissed out of hand. The powers that be at NTAC are scarey as hell... and they're supposed to be representative of our government! Doesn't exactly inspire confidence! The only character that I don't care for is .... I can't remember his name... Tom's son, who took the promycin shot and is now listening to the chick that no one can see and is convinced that Jordan Collier is the next messiah. Is anyone else confused by the entire dynamic of the 4400? Who do you think is right or wrong? I just want to get someone else's take on the show and the feelings they get from what's going on. Thanks!
