Zoloft Side Effects

I hate taking medication... always have. I won't even take Ibuprofen for a headache unless I can't function anymore. So, when I couldn't deal with the depression and anxiety I was experiencing, I went to my doctor and he prescribed Zoloft. After two weeks, I started feeling numb and dazed out, as if I was in some other world watching things happen around me. I asked my doctor and he just lowered my dosage. Three months later, nothing had changed so I decided to ween myself off - very slowly to avoid any other side effects. It's been about four years since I stopped taking Zoloft altogether, but I still have the numb, dazed out feeling. I've been to psychologists, psychiatrists, neurologists, hematologists... no one seems to know what's going on. I'm linking it to the Zoloft, since that's the first time I really noticed it, but I wish there was some way to know for sure and do something about it! Has anyone else experienced this???

I actually had that problem a couples of months ago like i was watshing stuff around me wierd noise in my ear and all off balance and all and i thought it was my tranzadone and then i went to emergency room because it really scared me. It silly but come to find out it was an inner ear problem which connects to your brain and causes off balance and numbness and faint feeling and off balance adn all. They gave me something for virtigo which worked wonders and in a couples of days i felt better and have never had th feelings since i hope you check into this because i had no idea and the zoloft would not still be doing it after this long expeciallly if you are still not back on it but you know you should check into that it really was somrthing i did not expect and you r ear never hurts because it is somthing to do with the inside of it and all.
