My wife has a good collection of english and her mothertongue language KANNADA, around 800 nos which she can tell the contents of each of the book. I have a collection of English books numbering some 600 and I can tell I have read most of them.

It would be easier for me to figure out how many e-books I've read because there have been so few! But as for actual real books, in my hand and reading them, wow! What a mind-boggling question! I have been reading a lot of books since I was a kid, started reading heavily in the 4th grade. I am now 46 years old. Wow! If I did a rough guess-timate of one book per day since I was 10 years old, that would be 12,096 for 36 years. And there were a lot of years that I read way more than one book per day, then of course some days where I read none at all but mostly I read and read and read, then there was school reading too, about 6 years of college where the reading was intense and I still read for pleasure. Wow, I have read a lot of books! What a thought-provoking question!! I loved it!

I have read 100's of books to many to count. I use to read for school, work and then for pleasure. Now I read for pleasure only because I no longer work.

I don't know the exact amount of it. There are at least 500 books including my learning books, I guess. How many books do you read? Can you figure out it? Do you like them all? I don't like them all, most of them are necessary for a student.

I couldn't quite count the ones over my lifetime, but I used to read alot back when I was younger. So, I'd say, at least 300 or so, back then. However, in the past 25 years or so, I haven't read more than 10 books, unless you count tv guide, and I haven't read it in at least a year.

it will be like counting stars in the night sky. i have read lots of book and that too of all types. i think it will be near impossible to figure out how many books i have read till now. and i dont like reading e-book for the simple reason that i dont get the feel or reading a paper book while reading an e-book.

Oh god, there's no way for me to figure that out. I LOVE reading, it's been one of my favourite hobbies since I started to read.
