Alexi is a really lousy vocalist, just as much as lousy guitarist, actually. I think that CoB really lost it since Alexander Kuoppala left the band, he was the soul of it. Roope Latvala wasn't a bad replacement, but the albums after that just yeah...been sucking.

Its true that his vocals aren't up to the standard of his amazing guitar skills, but COB would sound to different and alien for me if it wasn't Alexi's vocals being used.

Before you read this, understand that I -am- a CoB fan. I am not a hater, I'm just sharing my view. As a guitarist, I can tell you that Alexi's guitar playing is not 'mind-blowing'. But, I will admit that he is on a professional level. He's just not godly enough to make it as a guitarist, and -only- a guitarist, in an age where we have guitar virtuosos popping up every other day. What is astounding is his ability to play the leads that he plays WHILE doing the vocal work. It's very, very hard to do anything rhythmic while even talking, so the combination (Especially in their style of music) is quite impressive. Short version - His vocals aren't bad, his guitar playing isn't bad. Together, though, they're quite impressive.

in my opinion, alexi should be continue doing vocals because if he change the vocals, the songs not same like before, and has changed. its like not children of bodom

I don't think Children of Bodom will ever acquire a new lead singer. Alexi is the front man, and I don't think he'll want to give that position up. Also, I'd say he can pull off decent vocals for Children of Bodom's style of music.

I see no reasons to Alexi leaves COB's vocals... he's great, he must to continue with the great work that he make on this project, like in Sinergy, like him punk project, that I've forgot the name now..

Woah, this is like making him sing instead of making him play guitars instead. For me, just like most comments, Alexi is the frontman and lead guitar player of the band. It would be weird if someone would be singing for them during concerts.
