Mayonnaise..what is your brand ? seems that different area's prefer different...

here in the "Carolina's" we use "Duke's"....funny..but in a lot of area's "Miracle whip" is their preference..then again..

there is so many brand out there but in nj a majority of the people use hellmanns mayo.which i prefer over any other kind.miracle whip has a wierd taste to me and i really never tried any other one.but i do think the mayo can make a difference in the food you use it with.

I have a friend from Ohio..he swears that "hellmann" is the only correct mayo..:)

I'm a North Carolina girl and we swear by Duke's. I like Miracle Whip too, but it's like a sin here to eat that also.:P I don't know many, if any, who eat anything other than Duke's. It's funny how different areas eat a certain brand.

haha..yeah..Dukes is the only thing good to me in potato salad..or tomato sandwiches..but I have a friend from Oregan that came down and made me the best miracle whip and corned beef sandwich..I know it sounds bad..but it was really great!!...I've bought the cheaper brands before..and it is nasty !!...by the way..I am from South Carolina..:)

I like Miracle Whip, but then it is not technically a mayonnaise. I usually make my own, and seldom buy any. If I do, it is usually the Safeway Select store brand or Krafts. I like a little more flavor and that is why I make my own. I tend to add some garlic plus extra cayenne pepper to it.

We use only Miracle Whip in my house...but I do keep Helmens Mayo in the house for my daughter...she prefers it...

I really want to try to make my own soon...I heard that it is sooooo much better !!
