Everybody says "OLD IS GOLD".. do you also believe in this..If so then why?

As concerned with this old prase it means that old person is experienced. Old people are wiser. But time proved that every old is not wiser.Young fellows of present age are also wise. So we should amend this as "old is old and gold is gold". every old could not be proved as gold.
