A survey more or less, just out of curiosity how many hours (minutes) do you spend typing, copy-pasting, embedding etc. etc. each day? As hobbies go, the internet has been entertaining so far, this my second computer. The first one was murdered in cold blood by an anti-virus program run amuck. Auto-installed ever virus on the internet a couple years ago, through my 'expired' firewall provider. It ran for three months daily updating itself as normal before I discovered a disk boot write problem. We live and learn. I spend all the free time I have online, pictures, study, video's . . I may be addicted. How about you?

yeah i'm pretty much online most of the time. at work, definitely. no internet at work = boring! ..if i don't have anything to do at home or if there's nothing good on tv, then i'll go online. i love the internet and my laptop, those two are some of the things that i can't live without! ^___^

I was beginning to think that maybe it was only me, you know, like who would prefer hammering out "the sky is falling" messages all day long instead of playing in the sunshine . . thanx

I spend a good five to six hours a day hopping from site to site doing various things on line. A few of the things I do on line are to make money, such as being here on MyLot, and I also publish some of my writing on line, so a good chunk of my on-line time is business related. The Internet is extremely entertaining for me.

Hello and thanks It would appear that you spend time in MyLot from the (5702). I enjoy playing with the search engines mostly as we like to receive checks in the mailbox . . Yes, I agree, the internet is very entertaining.

I know I am addicted in the most positive sense of the word because the Internet is my canvas, my typewriter, my wall to create murals of 'escapable to nirvanas', and the mere fact that it responds to me. Better than the phone or television or even radio because it has all of those things PLUS I can make it do some of the greatest things with my creative expressive side. I am published on the net at several reputable sites and my artwork is slowly working its way through the small gallery circuit.
