Like alot of people, i have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order to get that paycheck, i am required to pass a random urine test, which i have no problem with. What i do have a preoblem with is a the distribution of my taxes to people who dont have to pass a urine test. Souldn't people have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, becuase i have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand i have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their butt. Could you image how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get public assistance check. Let me know if you agree!

Here here, well said and I believe the same. It also seems like the same families are constantly getting the help......others are too proud! I totally agree!

Humm when you put it like that, it seems that if same families are all on welfare, then there seems to be a lack of educating going on. But i do think there should be done about folks on welfare who really dont need to be.

OH HOW I AGREE!!! Yes, I am shouting!! You best not come to East Kentucky if you want to see your tax dollars handed out by the fistfuls to addicts. It really burns me up. I think that those who get free housing, food, healthcare from my tax dollars should pass a urine test...you betcha!

Yeah i work in a doctors office and to hear the lame complaints that the patients make on why they need a out of work letter. It almost sounds like school. But for me i pretty much dont really care why they want to be out.Hey its there missing wages not mine. I dont really see the harm in giving them a letter but hopefully that isnt turned into a disablility. Then is it up to businesses to pay for that! Any hoo i hear ya.

I think that you have a very good point and that people do need to be held responsible for their actions in order to get assistance. Thanks for sharing!! :o)
