How Much is fair to spend on a wedding?

The average cost of a wedding in the UK is about £20,000 Could you spend this amount? If so, what would you spend the majorit y of the money on? Do you think its obscene to spend this much money on a wedding thanks

It is unfair for spending for marriages. Instead we can donate to charity' orphanages. Marriages can be done in a simple way through legal system in any country, we the people for our dignity we are wasting money.

I see your point, but not everyone wants to do things like this with their money. There are perhaps a lot of people, like myself, who already give to charity. These same people may wish a celebration of their marriage and this involves spending money on it
