There are some stories in the Bible that are just funny to read. Whether it be wording or the story itself. There is one story that I find interesting. That is when God had around 42 teenagers killed by a few bears for making fun of a bald man - Elijah. Crazyness! Just for making fun of him being bald. That's the last time I ever make fun of anyone's baldness!! ;) I have a few others that are amusing that they are in the Bible but I want to hear what some of other people's favorite funny stories of the Bible are. I am not looking for anyone to slam the Word of God or Christians here. Do not use this as a place to mock Christianity. This is only for those who actually read the Bible and find some parts entertaining. Please go somewhere else if you are going to same something deragtory.

The story that actually I found interesting is the story about that wall of Jericho, when they go around it and then the 7th day they all yelled, and the wall break down. Sometimes I just wonder why go around it for seven day. I know it's just some sort of obey the God word and have faith on it. But it's just interesting.

Yeah, I remember that story! Didn't they have to go around 7 times a day as well? I don't remember if they did or not. That's a great story. It's interesting that they didn't even have to battle anyone to make the wall fall...God made it fall out of their obedience no matter how silly it seemed to them.

One of the funniest to me is when Balaam's donkey talks. And not only does the donkey talk, but that Balaam talks back to him when he asked why he hit him three times! I don't know, but if my donkey or pet talked back to me, talking back and having a conversation with it would NOT be in my list of options. More like freaking out! LOL. It's just hilarious to me how Balaam talked back like it was human, or like that kind of thing happens all the time! Haha!

I know! I think I would be rather speechless or running away if my pet started talking to me. Either that or I'd think I was crazy and hearing things. I for sure wouldn't mention it to anybody, let alone have someone write a story about it in the Bible for the world to see! Good one!

I just have one question: where exactly is the story of the teenagers? I haven't read that one and I would like to.

It is in II Kings 2: 23+24 I posted the link to where you can read it, I also copied and pasted the two verses for you. :) http://www.mylot.com/nr/newcomment.aspx?aid=6588795&qid=1223815 23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. 25 And he went on to Mount Carmel and from there returned to Samaria.
