In our home, I have put together a wall of fame as a tribute to my husbands military life...he refuses to collect the many medals that he was awarded so out of respect for him....I do not push it..
I think that this wall attributing to his military lifestyle shows the love and respect that I feel about him...
I wanted to share this with you, my fellow myLottians and to ask...do you have a wall of fame in your home?

I will take a look when I have responded
I don't here I used to have when I had all my Certificates for the Courses I did when I was an Area Manager well the way the Company treated me when my Disability came out and Diagnosed 100% and after working 8 years for them to I put them all away
I will never need them again as I will never be able to work again

Its nice to show our appreciation and how much we love some one. I am sure your husband is chuffed that you have done this for him.
I do not have such a wall of Fame as such, but in my toilet I have large picture frames which contain many photos in a collage of past events, days out, my beautiful children and the pride of place photo of when my partner caught a gigantic fish.
I love going in there and looking at all the photos, although it does make me sad that those days have gone so quickly:0)

We are still getting settled in our new place, so there are no pictures on the walls yet, however soon enough there will be. I am Danish, so I am used to having a lot of pictures and things on the wall; anything from family pictures to art. Our walls will be covered in memories soon enough.

My s/o had a "wall of fame" of sorts at his old house. It was a mix of his pictures and racing plaques, memorabilia from his favorite driver, and his kids' pictures all thumbtacked or taped up in the living room bachelor style. I rearranged them once because it was my way of saying that I cared about those thing too and wanted them to look nice.
Right now we have "boxes of fame", meaning all those special things are packed in boxes waiting patiently to be rehung...somewhere, anywhere....

I wish I had kept all my trophies and plaques that I received when playing sports throughout my netball and basketball career but I left them with my family when i moved to Samoa.
We don't have one at the moment but we might in the future.
