Armoured Or Equipped To Face Many More Battles

I believe the best equipment to use in a battle is knowledge, the more you know the better you are able do deal with any situation. and the first knowledge is about your self. if you know that you are not willing to go the whole way in a battle, then you best not get into it to begin with. We live in denial of our wants and needs.I often say I need, but am unwilling to get of my butt and do the work. there are other times when I want and will do what ever it takes to attain my goal. So again knowledge about our selves is essential.

Yes, I can fully agree with that. To me life is a process of learning to get to completion. The "battles" between ego and spirit are what strengthens us. Age has nothing to do with the spirit, for it is ageless :-)

I am 65 now my friend and I sem to have more battles now than I ever had when I was young , I must say though that I seem to be doing OK with them so far xxx

I beg to disagree with the last sentence. To a certain extent, I agree the WILL and perservance plays a part in conquering battles. However, is winning the battle important? In my opinion, age does matter. Winning is no longer of utmost importance as one gets older. Some may say the WILL may be there, the SPIRIT may be there but the flesh may be weak. But I feel that as one ages, one is more stable emotionally and thinks deeper and gets wiser, and so battles are nothing but little games :P

Yeah, there are too many battles for us in life and work. We have to work hard to fight with them to realize every dream of ours. We are fighting every day for the battles that we encounter with. Life is full of fights, therefore we are on the fight as always.

that is so true..when there is life there is hope..never too late to win all struggles in life..they will not be lessened through times but instead will just gonna increase in numbers but still with hopes and faith believing we can..we will gonna win this fight over this world

I can go along with that I dont care how old ya get some kind of challene pops up. And you just have to work thru it even if it dont look like a win sitchuation
