I believe it is true. There are certain Congress members that are really pushing for this. So far, the only one I have seen is a $1 coin, and "In God We Trust" is conspicuously missing! I guess that's only the beginning. I have also heard (and it could be a rumor or conspiracy theory) that currency is all ready to be minted at the main currency minting place in Washington (Franklin Mint?) that is called "Americo" or something like that, which is planned to be the currency for a transAmerica (Canada, U.S.A., and Mexico together). Kind of like the "Euro." I guess we'll see if this ever happens. A lot of things go on in Washington that are not openly reported to or discussed with the American public. These are but two examples.

Yes they do have a lot of secrets. I have an aunt and uncle that was sworn to secrecy when she and her husband worked for the government in Washington D.C. At times her husband had to have body guards. It was a very hard and stressful way to live. She said the day they got away from there was the happiest day in her life.
She said they were all as crooked as a tree branch. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens...an "Americo" sounds funny doesn't it?

I've heard about it and that rumor has been going around for years. People have been trying to do that for quite a while. I don't think it should be taken off the money, but I don't care to fight those who will reply with the old seperation of church and state. Our country WAS founded to be free from religious persecution among other things. To be forced to take 'God' off of our money would be defeat the purpose of founding the country in the first place. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. : )
