Have you tried applying for an online course? Here in the UK, there is such thing as an Open University. I'm not so sure if it's available outside the UK.

In this case there are lots of options. you can opt any online degree course..you can get the degree from the convinience of your home. you can also join evening classes. the evening class trend is getting popular day by day ...but on the other hand you have to put some effort for this...

I can't speak to the funding piece, but it sounds like Distance Learning might be the venue for you to take from a time standpoint. I have two coworkers that are working on their BS's and one getting their MBA via Internet classes they take from acredited colleges. One of them is also a parent with three kids and he's always got his hands full-- he just does his class work at time he is able to set aside.

If you have a college anywhere in your area I would go and talk to them. I would guess that you should be able to receive lots of grants and scholorships because of your age, income and circumstances. A guidance counseler should be able to help you figure the financial part out. Hopefully they would have distance learning and night classes as well. I think the first step though would be to contact the college and hopefully they should be able to point you in the right direction.
