Publishing my very first ebook for free, or make it into an article?

Earlier last week I have finished putting the final touches on what could possibly be my very first ebook, or my very long article, "The Ca$h Wa$tebs$ket Technique". It's 12-pages long, and 2,725 words. Too big for an article, but if I submitted it, it could be possible i'd be making more than I would. Should I submit it as an ebook, or should I submit it as an article for Associated Content? If I decided to submit it as an ebook, are there any free publishers to help publish my ebook?

In future I too intend to write an ebook. The contents will be C/C++ programs for numerical analysis and physics problems simulation. Through this response I am asking the opinion of all my-lotters. Do you think that this will be useful to the public and I will be successful? The main reason I intend to do this is that, that all the programs have been created by I myself. I hope that it may become helpful to the teacher and student community.

I just read your discussion on the AC forum. You got some good advice, but nobody mentioned self-publishing. If you want to set it up as an e-book, go to lulu.com. You can make money by selling your work, but since lulu doesn't charge you for publishing e-books, if you want to give it away, you will be able to do that without losing any money. Lulu is a well-regarded site. Check it out.
