Is it Pedophilia?

When two people are close in age, but one is above 18 and the other is not, is this still considered pedophilia? What if one person is 17 and the other is only 18? Technically the 18 year old is an adult and the 17 year old is a child... but does one person reaching their 18th birthday change a relationship? I don't really think it should be considered bad for someone who is only a few years over 18 to date a person who is close to but not yet 18. But, where do you think the line should be drawn? Is it okay for a 20 year old to date a 16 year old, or is a four year difference too much? Would the situation be different if they were both minors?

a 4 year difference is not much, pedophilia is consider when someone gets sexually aroused with children. Having a 20 year old with a 16 year old is not pedophilia. It would be if the childs was 11 instead of 16 since is not "fully developed" and not sexually mature.

Peadophilia is the desire for children with these being defined as pre-pubescent persons. This has very little to do with age of consent unless it is Spain where the age of consent is 13. Funny place this world.
