V. Anand at top.....

for the past ten years Vishvanathan Anand had been in the top 3 but he never reached the no. 1 position in the FIDE rankings. in the rankings released in april,2007 he gained the no.1 position for the first time. what do u think about him?

As a chess player i kthink that due to slight lack of concentration while move ur chess piece is a major factor to loose some game.As all know V.A is famous to move chess piece very fast as compare to other player.

Go Vishy! He truly deserves it. He's a nice guy and doesn't pick fights with people like Topalov, and he doesn't whine or make excuses like Kramnik. About time someone decent became the World Champ.

I'm glad to hear this news. I think he deserves it. Anand has obviously shown great consistency and to finally get to the number 1 position is surely what he deserves!
