Anyone? Kind enough to share your experiences and any interesting stuff you had come across during your visit? How much did you spend just for the visit and also the match ticket? What's the atmosphere like if you have attended a match? What is your advice for someone going to visit the place? When is the best time to visit? What other things to look out for during the visit?

Well I have been there - but it was in about 1980 and the ground has changed out of all recognition since then. In those days the Stretford End was still a terrace, none of the 'prawn sandwich' brigade sitting in their executive boxes. My overriding memory (apart from the inevitable violence) was that I had the WORST meat pie I've ever had at any football ground. I took one bite at the vile pastry, looked at it and tipped it up. The whole contents fell out of the pie, hit the terrace as a solid and of gristle and BOUNCED. Honestly, I've seen less frightening things on Dr Who.

Hahaha! That's a good one. 80s was about the time I just started as a Red Devils' fan...Those good old days remind me of Norman Whiteside, Steve Coppell, Ray Wilkins, Mickey Duxbury, Gary Bailey, Frank Stapleton, and of course my fav Bryan Robson...Thanks for sharing my friend.

I went to a couple fo games when I was a kid. Actually got to see them beat Liverpool and I was in the Stretford End...awesome experience. The only thing that beats it is going to a Scotland - England game. I was back in Scotland a few years back and have family in Manchester. I visited and we spent the day at Old Trafford. It's always busy so if you want to go on the guided tour...book in advance. But there is a smaller museum type tour that you can just walk into...see the trophy room etc. Plus you have to visit the shop...it's amazing, they have everything you could imagine.

England-Scotland game is always intense, isn't it? I've heard of the football museum and the shop although I can't recall their names. I'm wondering if the fans stand and sing to watch the entire match. Thanks for sharing.
