I just signed up to start selling avon. I know they have a discussion forum online, but, I thought I would ask my friends here as well. Do you have any good suggestions or ideas? I set up the website http://www.youravon.com/dhapke and I tried to personalize it as much as possible. Let me konw what you have done that works. Right now I am home during the day with the kids and only have one car.

You have to spread the word! Offer your customers a free gift or discount if they refer a friend to you. Have samples on hand incase they want to try before they buy and be your own best customer. If you wear AVON then you are like a walking billboard. I'm a fairly new Avon rep but these are things that I have learned to work. I'm still trying to increase my customer base and earn more money but you have to start somewhere. My online store is www.youravon.com/mmantuano

The best thing to do is try and get as many customers as you can...Avon sells its self really, but you just need to get the customers, and then hopefully their friends and family start buying off you..I always found that I put samples in their orders, its nice to get something for free and it makes them more inclined to return to you..

i sold avon for 10 years...while a website is a good idea, i think the personal touch is also good. there are many sellers out there and you have to make yourself special and unique from all the rest of them... while i dont sell avon anymore (i got a job outside of the house) i know at least 3 other people that do...and of course you want my money, so why should i go to you rather than the others, thats the way you have to look at it...my own avon lady gives me freebees (and clothes for my kids!) goodluck on your venture!
