I had an agreement with my daughter last Tuesday. I was feeling frustrated because she was being more stubborn than her usual. So, I sat with her and had an agreement with her. The agreement was, if in one day I don't get angry with her because of her being stubborn, I will give her a star. And if her star reaches 10 mommy and daddy will buy her a toy as her price for doing her best to be obedient. Guess what? its working!! although she is yet to receive her star but I can tell that she is trying very hard to be respectful and obedient. That alone makes me happy! Any ideas you can share in terms of child discipline? I do spank her once in a while but I try to avoid, I prefer not spanking.
