That was very nice of you to take her to the concert..She will remember this for a long time to come..I called my younger sister and told her I had a ton of baby clothes to send to her daughter for the new baby...She was extremely excited about it...That makes me happy...My sister looks up to me..This is her first grandchild...

How sweet, That is so nice of you.. I did the same thing to my sister after she had her baby I had so many baby cloths and they were for a boy, lucky for me she had a boy too.. So I handed down everything my son had to her son.. Thanks for your reply!

My niece lives in Green Bay..I have 5 big diaper boxes stuffed with clothes..I think I will put them in one big box to send them...I think there are at least 20 outfits in each box...

Last Saturday, at the nursing home, an elderly lady who is legally blind inquired about my penlight that I had used to check her pupils during a neurological check. She explained that if she had one, she may be able to see the numbers to push to operate the elevator on her own. It would give her a little independence. I knew I had a spare at home, but I wanted to check first, and I couldn't find it. The next day, I gave her the one that I could find. Oh, it made her SO happy!

Aww so nice I bet that made her feel good... Lots of older people like that though some know they can't really do much for them selfs.. But little things is what makes people smile and happy... Thanks for your reply!

Yes, I let my oldest cook dinner the other night. Ok she is 10 and has always wanted me to let her do a meal by herself. So I did, you should have seen the smile on her face. I know she was just beside her self to know I trusted her that much. She did great btw, it was excellent. She made a spegetti dinner. I just stayed in the dinning room where I could watch her, but not let her know I was doing so.

Being 10 you did the right thing.. I would let my son cook than too, well ok maybe. But of course I'd be next to him.. HE has help me stir like cake mixes and things like that and he sure loved it and it did make him very happy too.. I am sure your daughter was very proud of herself too... Thank you so much for your reply!

I hardly take part in the farewell meals organized by some of my colleagues who is leaving the company one after another, as I am always busy with the family after the work. But this Friday Evening I am going to go for it as one of my favorite manager is leaving. He is a nice chap and I don’t want to let him down. I am sure my action will make him smile. LOL
