this is one of my favorite songs of julia. well of course, i love every song she has but this one goes in the top 5 of my list. the lyrics and music is just so sad that merely hearing the song gets me sentimental.

Hi chari_dc. I'm ecstatic to learn that there's a mylotter who shares my passion for Ms Julia Fordham's songs. She's been my favorite for nearly two decades now and to this day her songs continue to haunt and mesmerize me in more ways than one. I like singing Invisible War and struggle to make a poor, copycat rendition lol! My favorite though is "Happy Ever After" not only I sing it in the shower room but always, always singing it in my mind.

hi! sorry i haven't entered mylot for a long time that it is only now that i got to read your post.
glad to know there's somebody out here in mylot who obviously adores julia as much as i do. my husband and i LOVE her, to the point that we named our daughter JULLA. (right, we just changed the spelling)
hope we have more discussions about THE julia fordham!
