Time goes faster as you age.

Have you ever noticed how much faster times appears to go as you age? Now I know many of you are very young and really haven't thought about that yet, but someday you will realize how true it is. As children, we can't wait to grow up, so time goes very slow. Parents with young children probanly don't have much time to think about it. As the kids get older and leave home,we begin to wonder where the time has gone. It's when you reach the top of the mountain and begin the descent on the other side, ah that's when time picks up the pace. We're not in a hurry anymore, in fact quite the opposite. Would anyone like to add to this?

Oh I definately agree with that statement. Sometimes I'm totally horrified at how fast time is flying! We're well over half way through the year already - the nights are already drawing in here in the UK, and soon it will be Winter again! Scary!!

My parents always told me that after high school time would just fly by. Of course, being the smart teen ager that I was, I did not believe them. Well, that was 20 years ago, and where did the time go? I was always in a rush to grow up and all that, and now I look back and wonder why I never took the time to smell the roses! Now, my husband and I live day to day and enjoy things in life so much more. We try not to hurry and rush around, (doesn't always work), but we try to enjoy more things in life and slow our lives down so that we can cherish this time we have together.
