Time to say a big thank you to each of you who offered words of encouragement and helpful suggestions while I've been recuperating. Even though I wasn't spending much time on-line I did check in every day to reply to those who dropped by.
Each response was a get well card from new and more regular on-line friends and they were helpful...and nurturing. Some of the ideas were new to me some I had heard of in the past but hadn't implemented for awhile. The combination of rest, medication, TLC from my hubby, caring words from each of you and the excellent health and wellness ideas worked!!! Thank you...I am starting to feel much better...and all this led to the dicussion I am posting after this one.
So I am back...yes DanaMark and Lakota12 my 'thinker' is starting to work again...so here we go...lookig forward to chatting with all of you again. I feel fortunate to have connected with you and so many others in this wonderful Land Of Mylot. Your on-line friendships are a blessing that I am grateful for...thank you.

Well...yes, some time off...but my 'thinker' won't totally be on vacation. There is a deep satisfaction in sharing on-line discussions with you and others. So even though I will take some time to relax...my thinking cap will be on...so get your 'thinker' ready!LOL

Your welcome my friend. Taking a little time to check in and caring responses from you and others who took the tike to add comments was in and of itself...very nurturing.
I did eat some ice cream and popsicles and added a few more suggestions to my healing regime and it all helped.
My approach with Mylotting is to respond to responses before going anywhere else. I'd much rather keep in touch with a smaller group of friends than bop all over the site and do one time only answers...unless the topic is just too good to resist.
So I am back...my writing projects are mostly done for now...a few edits more and the editor will decide on a publication date. I am going to take a breather, spend some time on Mylot and enjoy the rest of the summer.
So we'll be more in touch...and I look forward to that.

Your hugs and blessings are always nurturing dear friend. I hope the medication and infection doesn't make the thinking cap fit too crooked!LOL
I guess we'll see in the days and weeks ahead.
Good to be back and touch...my thoughts are with you and yours as well.

I'm so glad you're feeling much better Perspectives--nurturing oneself is probably the best medicine when one isn't feeling well...Sometimes, and I'm guilty of this, one doesn't really nurture or take care of themselves and rest or chill out enough until unfortunately one gets sick..right?
