i hate my boss today!!

Dear larskie23, I worked in different organisations big and small. Generally I allow my boss to boss over me only six months. Because I first slowly study organisational set up and its activities, personal life of each boss and also staff. I am an accountant by profession. I keep my mouth shut and without a word I will follow the instructions of my boss for six months. By six months time I know his weakness and strongness. During the first six months I never take leave and would never go late to my office. If necessary without any payment I work late hours to complete my office work. After six months I will gain the confidence in my heart that I can start overriding them, I override them because I knew their weakness and strongness. By that time my notes about their good and bad things they did in the office during the past six months will help me to strenth my argument in case they try to scold me. I adopted this method in many organisations. This method gave me power and after six months I acted according to my whim and wish. They would never ask me why did come late, why I left early, why I did not do my job, etc., Moreover I never give room for their to complaint against my work in the organisation. One example I just want to give you. One of the executives related to Chairman of our organisation positioned his table in such manner; it was giving uncomfortable for the staff to move around easily. He was positioned it purposely to show his power. Every staff was complaining to me that his table was giving trouble while moving around. Every staff was afaird of the executive as he was relative of the Chairman. I went to see the chairman one day on an official purpose. After talking to him I just mentioned if the executive moved the table one inch other employee can move around easily. The Chairman said O.K. tell him to move the table one inch. I came and told the Executive "The chairman asked you to have a small table, in case you want to talk to him about it go and talk him". He never said anything, immediately he removed the his big table and in its place put a small table". When you work in an organisation, you should first study and learn how to deal with boss and other staff. Once you learned the trick no boss will scold you.

Gah! I hate my bosses too! I work at a preschhol that is family owned and operated by these really uptight people that are very two-faced and gossipy. The ones of us that are not family are constantly watched to make sure we aren't talking about the bosses and stupid stuff like that. Petty things that don't even involve the children, which is the most important part! They try to turn the other employees against each other, but we know how they are by now. I think many bosses like to abuse their power. If your boss has been okay with you being late before, then he/she needs to stick to that. That is the way my bosses are, they change rules around to suit their moods. It is so frustrating and I would quit if it wasn't for my class...I love those kids.:)

maybe you were just pressured this morning, being late and being pushed to give a report so early. bosses are usually...well, bossy. that's why they're called just that. hey, cheer up! just give him the da*# report and get on with the day. just promise yourself that someday, when you become a boss, you won't be too pushy and demanding of your subordinates. :-) strive hard, work hard. pretty soon, you'll get there. good luck!

well, that really happens...I do hate my boss too if they get a little hard and pushy on me.. I mean I know and understand that they're having this pressures and all but do they have to take it all on us as if we're dumb or something....they can sometimes be so irritating, so unreasonable and injustice...lolz! When I get to be the boss, I sure will be not like them..lolz... :)

I think perhaps not your boss who annoys you but your boss assistant. perhaps your boss forget the report already on the desk and asking the assistant to get the copy from you . and your boss assistant got confuse to find it and end up scolded you. well I like my boss because he's got low temper when his angry but I don't like he keep on changing the idea for my job and also I don't like if I came late my boss will reduce my salary and when I have to work over time he won't give me additonal money, I just think is not fair.
