Spaghetti, linguini or ziti?

I like pasta, whatever shape it comes in. My daughter "doesn't like" spaghetti, As far as I am concerned, from a kid's point of view, pasta is pasta so how about letting them pick out the pasta you will use for spaghetti once in awhile for fun.

linguini is my pasta of choice, it doesnt take as long to cook as fettucene, and is a bit more filling than spaghetti...

I personally prefer penne or rotini over spaghetti or linguini, so I understand someone not liking spaghetti noodles so much. Penne and rotini are much more solid tasting. And far less messy to eat.

Pasta - Pasta corta or pasta lungha - I like them all but prefer the long pasta. Also depends on the sauce.
We are very much separated on this in my family. My husband and one of my twin sons prefers*short* pasta (Pasta corta in Italian) which includes the spirals, penne, etc. The other twin and myself prefer long pasta (pasta lungha) linguini, fettucine and spaghetti (I prefer the thin ones). My eldest son likes ALL pasta:) So I usually alternate short with long and also vary the sauces.
