so this isnt a newer movie by any means..in fact I think its from the mid 90s or so but for all the Johnny Depp movies I've seen, this is DEFINATELY one of my favourites...MIND YOU his character is a Buster Keaton/Charlie Chaplin type person both of which I'm quite fond of so thats a factor too LOL anyway, here is a brief summary of the movie (from Netflix) "Benny is the older brother and caretaker to his mentally ill sister Joon, who is charming if she doesn't forget to take her medication. Sam, a sane but creative soul falls in love with Joon sparking a jealous tinge in Benny." anyone else seen this? what did you think of it?

Oh, I LOVE Benny & Joon. My favorite part is the part where he sticks forks in the rolls and has them dance. Actually, it's really hard to pick a favorite part, because there are so many cute and clever things in that movie! We managed to find it on DVD fairly cheap, so we own it. :)

I'm quite fond of this movie, and it only adds to my admiration of Depp as an actor. It was a very unique plot concept though, and the characters were both believeable and engaging. I also liked the actor who plays Benny, but I've seen him in few other things, heh.

I remember that movie! I was sweet and funny. I think it was before Edward Scissors hands. Anyway I think Benny and Joon is one of favorite movies of his.

I have not seen this movie, but if it is as good as his other films then i'm sure it is good.
