Discussions my friends started..

Hi eshaan!!Ofcourse.The discussion section you said is always shows the recent replied discussions in that discussion.It gives benefit to the persons who started that discussion to have more exposure among friends.For fresh discussions you should have to set 'notify on'.I set to get responses and comments too.It really floods my mail box with lots of mails...Smiles

Ya i too had the same problem.I also notified on to get to know the new discussions of my friend.Yes my email is always overcrowded.I maintain seperate email account for this reason.

Hello eshaan, I totally rely upon the email alerts to access fresh discussions started by my friends. Because mylot will display the list according to the latestly responded discussions. To manage your mail box you have to make a lot of deletion. That's what I do. I respond to as much as discussions as I can. All unattended mail alerts are deleted after three days. I also delete the related mail after responding a discussion. Mylot's system can extened little hep in this matter. I think that is the reason for providing e mail alerts.

I have the same problem I have all my friends notify on and my mail box is full to the brim everyday. This is why I am four days late in answering this discussion. I feel four days late is better than missing what my friends have been saying.

Hi Dear I used to recognise the discussions with their title names and the details written on it .. but yes it happened with me many times that I have responded to the same discussion 2 times. There should be some provision in mylot .. so that we will know that we have already responded to that discussions.

You can choose the friends who start discussions you can relate to, visit their profile and pick the discussions to respond. You need not answer your friends' discussions all the time. There are a lot of other options on the left coloumn of the home page. I suggest you to choose the discussions from your interests, so that you can do full justice to the discussion. Luckily i've a lot of friends who start new and quality discussions. Why don't you add more friends? The best way you can add more friends is go to any recent discussion with lots of responses, add each and everyone that you see there. They are the active users of myLot at present. you can even do it in some of my discussions which have crossed 100.
